Skeleton Horde and dungeoneering

Featured Replies

Hey, just did a large floor 30 dungeon, started off with 5, one guy quit. Then we carried on pretty smoothly filling the entire map with rooms. We finally got to the boss after an hour and a bit and it was the skeleton horde. Our highest lvl (104) had to go so it was me lvl64, lvl 53, lvl 88 against lvl 75-90 skeletons. The healer person wasnt healing us at all and we got destroyed the low lvl quit and me and the other guy after 5 deaths realised we had no hope. I am angry about how u can put so much effort into a dungeon, then people can leave and completely ruin it for you and the healer person wont heal you at all compared to the amount you are being hit.

Can't say I've ever had much of an issue with the horde.

Just use mage (or ranged) while standing on the rug/platform area that the skinweaver heals in. And pray mage (assuming ur in melee armour) and then swap to ranged prayer if the rnager guys are majorly higher lvl than the mages.

how did it take you 1 hour to get to boss?

F2P larges with w7 randoms can take a REALLY long time, especially when 1 or 2 ragequit. Believe me that is why I avoid that world like the plague now...

In regards to the skeletal horde it hasn't been that much of a problem for me either. Remember that the skeletons have half health and significantly lowered defense.

Also, after 6 deaths the death penalty no longer increases, so from there you should just keep suiciding until boss ends.

I guess it was just the fact it was meant for 5 and we only had 2

Don't dunge with people who might quit/randoms. Either solo or use a clan or friends. If you want to keep using randoms, that's your choice, but you can't complain.

I love skeleton horde because I can just mage it with my surgebox and the pet heals me.

They might be, but if you don't want people quitting suddenly (which happens often) then don't use them. Solo dunging saves a lot of aggravation in terms of not relying on other people for anything.

There are no clans that accept any dunge level? Any clan at all?

If there are clans that will accept any dung level then they will fill up with idiots taking away the purpose
