Every day now I hear people making millions by rev hunting. Basically, I want to know if I have the levels to do this efficiently, and if so, what gear/inventory setup would be best to go with?

That guide isn't very good.... Your attack style doesnt matter. Just bring a whip/rapier with a d defender and salve(e) amulet. If you like you could also bring proselyte armour and barrow gloves, d boots. Jennica's ring improves drops so that might help;) You will die. A LOT. Most of the time pk clans will teleblock and freeze you so if you get attacked, teleport out immediately....

So Salve (e), whip, neitz, prossy top & bottom, forinthry bracelet and a teletab is the basic set up?

 

I'm a little reluctant to bring my Ddef with me, I hate killing the cyclops in the warriors guild :/ Any other good cheap options for the shield slot? TzHarr shield perhaps?

Teletab doesnt work above lvl 20 wilderness so bring a glory to teleport. Obby should would be a cheap alternative yea. With your stats it would probably best to kill anything but the lvl 135 rev dragon and the 120 dark beast. Higher lvl revs have better droprates but those two would be a pain with your stats...

Do you guys bring salve (e) to revs? I want to but I only have four in the bank, and I don't want to have to get new ones every time I die. Is it easy? I havent bought the slayer rings so I can't just go into tarn's again.

Also, I've tried both maul and rapier, and I prefer maul because it eliminates some of the healing ability. Also somebody told me that they heal more with faster hitting weapons but I don't trust that

lupes, if your worried about losing salve(e) dont bring anything else besides your weapon and d def + ammy. You can also get tarn's diary from the bookcase in your house.

iirc, salve has a protect value of 300 now. aka lower than sharks...although i could use monkfish lol

is it easy to get more shards from the haunted mine?

Not really, you need to go down to the lowest floor where you can mine the crystals. Takes about 15 mins or so to get a full inventory of crystals.

I've found killing the Dark Beast a lot easier than the knight

Seems simple enough, I might try out some of the lower leveled ones and see how my luck goes, otherwise I'll stick to slayer and keep plugging away getting combat exp and cash.
