Quest_Cape_K
So I would like to get a lot of cash for armour/weapons and levels like herblore.I need some advice however on how to get it, I have been slaying recently and ended up losing money and frost dragons are far too crowded with bots to get a decent flow of cash.Any ideas please?I also have Chaotic rapier and chaotic crossbow and very close to the maul. Also have 13mil starting cash. Lose No Hope
Keep slaying because you will profit in the long run. Do herb runs between tasks, and do MTK. That should give you a decent start. Quyneax
Powerslaying won't profit at least until a yak and even then you're stuck doing mediocre tasks like abyssals and blue dragons. Herb farming is great to start now, a scroll of life should be peanuts considering your dg level, you can do snaps, you can get juju farming pots, that's pretty much 250k per run and it takes 5 minutes to do. MTK is a good moneymaker, daily battlestaves are ~1400 gp profit per staff you can buy (89600 gp with Varrock hard diary) and only take a minute on the way to the GE. Right now with your tank-ish stats I'd recommend slaying for strength levels (and attack). Higher stats, especially summoning, will increase future combat moneymakers and during the training you will make money from farming. Possibly the most efficient way to get high total however is to do non-buyable skills while farming (agility, rc, mining, woodcutting, hunter, thieving, fishing). These don't depend on your combats or moneymaking, but they will unlock some elite diaries and allow you to open effigies. You can use the elite diary lamps on for example summoning to get a unicorn faster (keep in mind that elite diary lamps tend to require 85+ in the stat you wish to boost). Then once you get this skilling done you'll have your farming profits to buy extremes, maybe turmoil, and you'll be able to max combat at high speed. Then you can use your high combats to make money to finish off the buyable skills and voila, max total. Not many people have the patience to do all the slow skills while relying on a moneymaker like farming though. Of course if you can (learn to) merchant all this goes out of the window and you should start as soon as humanly possible to rake in the mils :P. Cheat
Grimy now has his own forum. I don't think we're allowed to link it for a complicated reason. You can make unfinished pots for some reasonable money. Also with your stats and a slightly higher prayer you could try out duo/trio arma which is although not great and not particularly consistent money maker a hilt drop can seriously help your flipping cash pile. Nifflin
I suggest you get into doing TDS after you get a maul, they are very good and you would benefit from the charms and effigies. Also do as many herb runs as you can per day. Slayer isn't good money, even in the long run. The opportunity cost of slaying is too high. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
