Hi Guys,

 

I recently went on a trip, and the camera was recording on small dvds and what looks like the real dvd format.

 

I would like to know what programs you guys like to use when you go about ripping those videos from the small dvds, when on the computer. These can be programs on Windows or Linux (I use Ubuntu 10.10).

Yeah, I've used Handbrake on windows and it's really good. Can't speak for how it is on Linux though.

Handbrake works great on my Mac, very fast encoding and a nice set of presets.

Handbrake all the way.
