May 30, 201115 yr I already have 99 mage and don't really want mage xp. Usually when I do them I mage but I would rather melee them. Is melee viable there at all? And if so does anyone know how much slower it is? Or should I just stick to mage?

May 30, 201115 yr Melee is almost as fast, about 5% difference between the highest killrates iirc.Dno about the figures you have, but with 40-42k slayer xp ph with melee(rapier+cannon) and 48-50k slayer xp ph with mage, mage will be around 16% better, and that is with cannon- the difference will be larger without cannon(you can't safespot the burrow attacks with melee and have to run around alot more). As far as i'm aware, the slayer xp without cannon would be around 28k vs 40k, so the difference is infact very significant. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20.
