Revenant hunting

I can't seem to avoid these guys when I go revenant hunting. They seem like an excellent source of money for me because they don't really require summoning or prayer (if I go after the low level ones I don't even need range prayer).

 

But pkers are really stupid. Even though I'm obviously carrying worthless junk, they try to kill me.

 

How can I avoid these guys when I go revenant hunting? Which worlds would be good for them?

 

Also, will people who are training come and attack me?

Basically, you can't. People PK Rev Hunters for fun, so if you go Rev Hunting expect to be PKed a lot.

Go with a friend who knows how to pk, and have him pk the pkers ^^

 

Or go in a pink skirt with gnome top... I don't think they would attack you then.

 

Another option is to do it late at night...

Solution? Foreign language worlds, clans will never hop to them.

there are still teams in foreign worlds.. foreign peeps pk too. ;D

foreign worlds usually have less people and less pkers, but the spawns are slower.

 

honestly, i 3 item when i go there and there have been times ive been ignored but theres really no other ways of avoiding them.

On foreign worlds you are less likely to encounter then 10-man dbow clan, foreigns pk, but if they go rev hunter hunting then they tend to go to english worlds where they can hop more easily.

 

Forgot to mention earlier but watch out for;

 

Scouts for clans- low leveled people who hop in then hop out

Skulled people

People who will try to get you to skull yourself by tempting you somehow

Not if you happened to pick up some decent loot at revs. More of a moneymaker to let other people kill the revs and then take the loot from them. Or jack your whip you were trying to 3 item with if the loot you picked up happened to be worth more.

Unless you have a clan backing you up, the friend is only going to wrecked by a 4 man team at revs, and possibly the rev killer if the TBer is fast enough to get both of them before he glory teles. And the person is going to get pked for potential loot he picked up at revs or just for the lulz no matter how little gear he's wearing.

 

Most pkers are smart enough to know to avoid revs unless they have a team with them, so it's actually not that likely you'll be able to fend off pkers as most of the time you're going to get ambushed by clans. Your best bet is to glory out fast enough when you see a lot of white dots approaching before you get TBed...or get lucky and hope that the TB splashes.
