CT Wfvs without Iron Titan

Is it viable to do CT fiends for my Familiarsation bonus? I just need to be able to last for 40 minutes I figure. I have ovls/turmoil/everything else except an iron titan. Is it that big of a gamebreaker? What inv/equipment should I use to last for 40 mins?

No iron titan isn't that big of a gamebreaker, it would just make killing them much faster.

 

A good setup would be 2ovl, 2 brews, 1 wolper pouch, eee and rest prayer pots. Summon an extra wolper and drink super anti at bank.

 

I would suggest you do a practice trip. For me, wearing fire cape, slayer helm and elite void top and bottom + soul splitting means I don't need any food at all, even at the first 10 minutes. Elite void + fire cape provide a good balance between magic defense and str bonus.

Really, void and fire cape? I was thinking along the lines of karils and sw cape... and do you really not need any food if you ss?

I didn't need food on task at 93 melees/mage using Karil's + fire cape, but I eee specced after overloading. Since I doubt any other spec weapon would increase your kph, you should be fine. Especially with the wolpertinger's +10% magic defence boost.

Sc cape? Do you mean the soul war cape? The soul war cape and karil is very defensive. Karil provides you the defense and sw cape provides you prayer bonus. With my setup, void provides me prayer and defense while fire cape provides me a str bonus. Void does have less magic defense then karil but if you are able to survive with the lowered defense, it makes no difference. Heck, if I thougt I could surivive there with full bandos, I would wear that instead.

 

And no I don't need food but I still bring it nonetheless just incase something goes very very wrong. Although thinking about it, part of it might due to the fact that I have less wfs on me at once because cm + iron titan do make mincemeat of wfs.

 

The best advice I can give would just be to do a practice run with the setupup I suggested above.

no iron/steel titan doesn't make it much harder to kill in ct, but it basically means you lose out on the reason to be in ct(familiar damage). I'd say it's generally not worth the hassle of ct to kill waterfiends without iron/steel- waterfall would be nearly the same speed, but alot easier.

Main reason to go CT is that it's never crowded and a little faster than ancient cavern as bonus. Especially with a maul you benefit if a wolper can just do that little bit of extra damage on a near-dead fiend.
