david56
Is cutting your own personally grown tree slower than that off a tree everyone can cut? and is cutting, lets say a yew, at tree gnome stronghold with a hydra better xp/hr then just normally cutting yews (considering all the bots)
Nomrombom
It's faster to use Hydra. PM me for fitocracy invite
Amonitas
It's just that you would be dumb to cut trees in the first place. Quest cape since 11th July 99 Farming 4th February 99 Cooking 31st August
Nomrombom
It's just that you would be dumb to cut trees in the first place. This. Unless you're a DIYer there's no reason to cut trees other than for experience in which case I believe Ivy with a dragon hatchet is fastest. Quest_Cape_K
Cutting trees is better than sitting around at a bank doing nothing, its AFKable profit and experience. It is faster with a hydra.

I might be wrong but I read a post that stated teaks with the new deposit boxes were faster xp...

BluePain
Ivy was never fastest exp. As far as I am aware, splitting arctic pine > teak > construction workshop > ivy The thing with deposite box ivy is that either you can use urn(carried in bob) or you can use beaver but not both. Quyneax
It used to be arctic pine > sawmill > teak > ivy but with urns I think teak overtook sawmill, teaks also come with firemaking xp and logs you can bank. By the way you can use both urns and beaver perfectly well at teaks, you just have to bank a little more. Though I'd say at that point the beaver isn't worth it anymore.
