Cheat Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Depending on your income you should be casting shadow barrage you can on a reasonable one and ice burst if your not too well off. I'm not sure if boosting using extreme magics and then ice barraging at your level is at all effective. Wear full Ahrims/Virtus for casting and prossy when luring. If you haven't been before bring a ROL as it is possible to die here if you mess up a lure or don't safespot the lobs effectively when on low hp. If you don't have soul split then bring runes for blood spells - I'm not sure if ee/eee will cover your healing I haven't tried these here myself. Depending on what you cast the mage experience will be at least 100k+ and could be close to 200k - 250k/hr. Charms wise using burst you will get around 150-160 charms an hour and with barrage expect 220-230 an hour. Quyneax Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 I think it's worth boosting to ice barrage but I never had the stomach for long trips, I did 500-1000 casts at the time most (and only 2-3 trips) so I had space left. You cast barrage, wear Ahrim's (or battle robes if you like FOG), a staff of light, some prayer gear (soul wars cape and mitre works well, unholy book if you got one). The guide mostly works, just with outdated gear. Should be like 200k xp/hr and 200+ crims/hr. No effigies. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times?
