having no success with link to Java update....same as retrieving messages in that respect...have to go through home page...any way to Java update by the same method???

well if you are using Os right before Snow leopard you will have to upgrade. i wasnt able to find a way around it sorry. after you upgrade to snow leopard the problem dissapears although for one of my computers the graphics stop working great and other other they work better i think that just the computers. good luck.

 

also when you try to update Java from their homesite i didnt get anything i had the highest java i could for my OS.

 

For the links in the lobby none of them work for me ever.

 

to Answer your question try going to the Java Home site and update for mac.

Java for mac ONLY updates via the in built software update function of the mac is all the java website will tell ya.

Apple provides the Java updates, which means they're always an update behind. This is to change starting with Java 8, I believe, where Oracle will have to roll out their own support for OS X.
