July 5, 201115 yr Can you obtain strange rocks from using the workbench? I'm tired of building and clicking fireplaces all the time to get my construction rocks. I'd like to build Oak Armchairs on my workbench, but am worried I might not get strange rocks that way. Is it possible? Or does someone have a better alternative? EDIT: Answered my one question by getting one, sorry! Lock please. :)

July 5, 201115 yr A fast way is just to make any flatpack item requiring 2 planks. Beasts of burden help. If you can use a pack yak, making kitchen tables (3 planks) give faster construction exp.

July 5, 201115 yr You shouldn't make flatpacks really - if you dislike getting the rocks so much, try getting two stealing creation hammers. Have them in your inventory with a saw and the strange rock bag, and build mahogany dining tables in your dining room. This is not efficient, but it's a lot of xp for the few clicks per table (6*120*2, 1440 xp per table) so you'll have a reason besides strange rocks to train con. Motivates me every time.
