epitaph_o
Hi, I finally got turmoil and now I'm wondering what to save my money for next. I currently have 87 herblore and 77 summoning. I have about 5m left over from getting turmoil. I have the charms for 95 or 96 summoning banked. I have a chaotic rapier/ddef/all quest rewards but I don't have a fury/bandos/armadyl etc. Would it be better to spend my money on a skill? I currently do armadyl the most usually as a duo or trio. Quyneax
If you got the charms, use them ASAP. Unicorn > Armadyl armour for Kree, yak > most gear for, well, any dragon moneymaker and a ton of bosses. Cheat
If your happy with boosting from 87 herblore so be it otherwise I would suggest you get 89 for easy extremes. Then the priority is 96 summoning then overloads. You can buy gear while making money for any of these however once you have a net worth of the cost of the upgrade + 10m sell the equipment and get the upgrade they are far more worth it and cannot be taken by hackers. Congratulations as well on turmoil it really does rock. Pedicabo ego vos et irrumaboMinigames: Level 5 in All Barbarian Assault Roles PM me in game or on these forums to play. epitaph_o
Thank you both, so I should be aiming for yak?
AHappySeeker
Aim for extremes, uni and ovls first. You have less of a distance to go and they'll facilitate your acquisition of a yak.
Cheat
I would go with what Happy just said but as you mentioned you already have the charms for 95/96 summoning skip the unicorn and go straight for the Yak it will be incredibly useful and increase the gp/hr of the vast majority of moneymakers. Runecrafts
I'd aim for 96 summoning first, then get overloads after that. Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. LitterBug
Yeah, spend all your money on summoning especially since you're that close to a yak. Once you get a yak - your ability to make money increases drastically
epitaph_o
Thanks everyone, does anyone have a rough estimate of the cost from 77-96 summoning?
LitterBug
Really - it depends on what you're using. Some people choose to do lobsters cause it's so cheap (g/exp wise) and other people will just keep spending their money on the best pouches they can make Refer to these - check what you want for summoning Edited July 22, 2011 by obfuscator link removed
Cheat
If you want a massively ballpark estimate the figure of 75 million is often bandied around for the cost of 99 summoning. LitterBug
Where exactly did you get this information? Also, what estimate is this using? Are you using all but the super most ridiculous pouches to train?
Cheat
Estimate is from two summoning guides I read 12 months ago I did state it was inaccurate can't remember guide writers names one might of been Kent's and the other was on Zybez I shall try and find links. Quyneax
Using these gp/xp figures, and using 60% crimson, 20% blue, 10% green and 10% gold (by xp not number of charms), making barker toads, unicorns, yaks and geyser titans, summoning is 5.2 gp/xp. Only a very high percentage of green charms can change this really, all other pouches are cheaper than that, including swamp titans and rock lobsters, as well as lava and elemental titans and terrorbirds. Fruit bats are over 5.2 gp/xp but still cheaper than unicorns, so I think you'll average ~5 gp/xp for at least 12m of the 13m xp you need. Geyser titans, which used to be 10 gp/xp and up, have gone down to 6 gp/xp which is nice. By the way if you need charms - last kalphites task got me 22 blue charms in as many minutes, and 7 crimsons. That's as good or better than black demons.
