July 9, 201115 yr Do the ammount of people with 99 slayer on your team affect the chances of getting soulgazers? Are certain themes more likely to have soulgazers? Im not 99 slayer, but can pot to it. I've run into like 8 soulgazers, no hex drops so far.

As you are basically looking to snipe(it's doubtful you can solo a gazer after getting a pot for it), 3bo is good for that(as they have no problems with that). July 10, 201115 yr Yeah, make a perm team of 99 slayers that already have hexes so that you're guaranteed the drop, and only do warped floors. To give you an idea of how rare they are, though, I'm 117 dungeoneering and I've seen around ~30 soulgazers, two hexhunters. First hexhunter was at 101 dungeoneering, second one at around 60m exp, and I almost always have at least two 99 slayers on my teams (I think about 1/3 of everyone in DGS has 99 slayer). My first gazer was in a warped floor, my second in a high occult. So basically, they're incredibly rare, and you shouldn't even think about getting one. You do not look for the hexhunter - the hexhunter looks for you. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

In all seriousness, it's not worth the time to go out of your way to find one. Train DG as your normally would, except perhaps pay more attention to the Slayer levels of your teammates. Also, I believe it is either impossible or much more rare to get slayer drops via boosting, but not entirely sure about this. ~It's Super Effective! July 10, 201115 yr Indirectly, these will help you get a hex faster: -Get 99 slayer - so you dont waste time potting while other people who can kill it do-Get high total levels - I believe 94 is the lowest level you need to pot to every door (check on that) ^You never know where a soulgazer is hiding (could be in one of those bonus rooms you missed :( )-DG faster - faster floors = more rooms = higher chances of getting a hex But as everybody said, it's possibly the rarest drop in the game and you can't even camp the damned monsters like you can do with other drops
