I have been away from RS for quite some time now. I've noticed that prices on a lot of things have dropped significantly... I was wondering what is a good money making method? I have maxed out combat and most of my other skills are pretty decent. I would greatly appreciate any info!

Killing anything but yourself

I'm not good @ this topic but the mort myre shrooms are good. Killing abyssal demons is probably better, the whip prices are rising

Since you have maxed out combat, I'd suggest you try PvM.

 

If you don't have any chaotic weapons, I'd also recommend you dungeoneer for a bit and get at least a rapier.

what is the benefit to dungeoneering?? whats is a rapier? like i said i am back from over a year break. everything is completely new to me :S

If you have been away for a year, there are a couple of things you might want to consider to find some more information(google, youtube) about:

 

-Dungeoneering

Gives access to the new best slayer weapon, the chaotic rapier. You need 2mil dungeoneering exp(read 200k tokens) to be able to obtain this weapon.

Gives access to a new sort of dragon, the Frost dragon. This dragon drops frost dragon bones, which sell for a nice price. Downside is you need 85 dungeoneering.

 

-Farming

A small effort but good profit method is torstol herb farming, but you need 85 farming.

 

-Free trade

Since february this year, the grandexchange is changed. There are no longer buy/selling limits. Try and search for "flipping","investing" and "Merchanting"...

 

-Boss hunting

There is the Gwd i assume you know what it is. But there is a new boss called Nex you could try your hands on. But it is not soloable.(unless you are a pro and using glitches?)

 

-Staking

But this is more like a casino.

Look at tip.it's herblore habitat guide and learn how to start hunting jadinkos. With 74 hunter, either permanent or boosted, you can gather all of the required ingredients for juju farming pots given that you have the required farming and herblore levels associated with the pots.

 

All requirements are listed in the guide I mentioned. The juju farming pots give a 33% yield increase on herbs, so if you can manage to farm torstols (recommend getting 85 soon if you don't already have), you can easily make 300-400k+ per farm run every 90 minutes. This combined with the scroll of life ability bought for 10k dungeoneering tokens (100k dung xp) with allow you to make even more money, as sometimes you'll have your torstol seed returned to you. Sometimes you'll get lucky and manage a 1.5M - 2M profit trip.
