The default gateway should be there in most cases and should be something along the lines of 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 depending on your router. Just to be sure, you arn't logging onto a domain? This is just a regular home network right? What happened after you restarted the machine? Can you provide me with more information: - Are you on a domain - Are you using an Administrator account? - Has this resolved itself with a restart?
