Wise use of money?

Featured Replies

Given the current price of infernal ashes, I can at this very moment sell most of my bank and get 92 prayer. I realize this will not help me nearly as much as 95, but given the relatively low prices of ashes these days and the fact that I am a poor money maker, is this a good idea? Or do I really need to wait til I have enough for 95 and risk ashes rising back to their old prices? None of the equipment I would be selling is anything I can't live without for a while.

Iceland is in the north Atlantic. Its capital is Reykjavik. What is the punchline of this joke?

I am also a bad money maker. Recently I began farming herbs and I regret every second I wasnt doing this. Your main is definitely able to do snapdragon which is good profit, so I would suggest that for some money making.

Also, I do not expect significant rises in ashes or bones any time soon considering Prayer is nerfed during Bonus XP weekends, and botters will continue to keep bones and ashes low (or dropping) for the foreseeable future.

My advice would be not to sell off your entire bank in achievement of 92 prayer... but I will attest that I am no expert in such matters and only want to lend ya some of my thoughts.

Well my friend had the same idea you did. He leveled to 92 prayer and well its pretty useless, because having soul split may be nice but piety is much more useful. Along with the fact that unless jagex can really hammer the bots in runescape the prices of ashes/bones will most likely remain where they are or end up decreasing further. I would hold back untill you can either get 95 prayer or Extremes/ovls. People tend to not realize but extremes are much more useful than turmoil.

Money comes and goes in this game, skills last forever. I say spend it.

There are very few skills that actually add utility to your character prayer is one of them agility is the other.

When i bought 99 prayer i had 20k left in the bank.. was worth every penny.

Alright. I think I'm going to do it just because it will make getting 95 prayer easier. 100m seems less insurmountable than currently having the ability to get 92 and then about 40-50m after that. Only thing I might miss is fury, which is fairly steady as far as prices go. Thanks!

even if u get 92 then u will still be using normal prayers because piety>ss unless u have turm

Tbh i dont think ashes would rise a large amount in the future unless jagex ban all bots (which would never happen)

Seems like jagex have started banning bots, so i would level up prayer in small periods, so that you wont loose so much money if the botting persists, and that you wont scrap your bank right away.

My lame drops:

1 D Med - 1 D Dagger
1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody
