TheInfested
I was wondering if wearing Bandos with Mage Pray would be as efficient as using Dragonhide and praying Range? Like i said, just a quick question. :P
JacTise69
No, their range is significantly more accurate than their mage attack Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011. The Blog - Currently Cleaning Herbs
Nifflin
It's Mage based range. It's accuracy is based on mage defense but the hit itself is ranged. Shades in dunge have the same mechanic. Dunge skeletal mages use range based Mage. There are a few other examples Out there. I personally wear elite void top, bottom and slayer helm for the Mage defense and prayer bonus. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Mini_Spawn
If you have access to soul split just wear your best offensive gear. Chaotic maul + soul split + EE/EEE will keep you healed. I personally wear elite void with a chaotic maul and protect from magic, using soul split when I get down to about 600 LP. Granted I am not there 24/7 so my opinion may not be the most valid. Zaaps1
As Nifflin said, it's magic-based range, so any melee armor is a very bad idea. Dhide is the way to go. That being said, Void is more or less the same magic defense as Black Dragonhide, and gives a better melee bonuses than bandos anyway (especially if you go deflector+barrows gloves), so it's better to use Void melee than Bandos anyway. ~It's Super Effective! You would never go deflector and gloves at WFS because you should use either SS, ZS or CM to kill them and they are all two handed weapons. Quyneax
If killing them off task, go with void as said above. In the Chaos Tunnels on task you need decent defence, use void or Karil's legs and Karil's top. In the Ancient Cavern, on task, with soul split, use Bandos.
