July 26, 201114 yr I'm close to getting ovl and was wondering what would be the best shield for bandos solo, given a reasonable budget. I currently have a BSS but think that a DFS is better. any other suggestions? Also am i right in guessing i should get claws before upgrading my shield from a BSS? my stats: 99 att/str, 97 def 99 summoning and 75 pray DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
July 26, 201114 yr Well you're right in wanting to use a DFS over BSS. As far as everything else, just borrow a pair of claws until you can afford them and invest any money you would have spent on them in prayer. Without turmoil (and perhaps a chaotic, not sure) theres a pretty good chance that you will be able to be crashed, depending on what times you would go of course.So my advice is get the DFS, get a chaotic rapier/ls (if you don't already have) and that should work out quite well with overloads. Of course getting Turmoil would be a good thing to work towards as well.
