Rinoa
I was fighting Hill Giants in the Edgeville Dungeons and people kept asking me why I was fight with a steel long instead of a better weapon. Someone offered to sell me a rune long for only 20K and told me to meet him in Varrock Square. While I was waiting a girl came up to me and gave me 35K for a rune weapon. I couldn't believe it, I was honestly in shock. I kept saying omg, omg, omg. I know there are players out there who like to help out others, but I would never have thought that someone would just give me enough gp for a rune weapon. I think I thanked her for like 5 min straight, lol. :D (My face right afterwards  lol)

Rinoa
I'm not much for shopping around and I was planning on buying from the store for 32K
Guest
You had a steel long at lvl 67 combat...what are you a "highwayman" south of Falador?  Good to see you found a nice person in rs. There are plenty more people like that out there though, just hard to find in the 100'000's of people who play.

Guest
hmm, to me this looks fake, done with a rich trustable rl friend, or just a scam done overly well. :? ...er..um...why would they give her 35k when the weapon is 20k...that's losing 15k? You make no sense?
dwarfie76
Nah, there's more than a few people around who are pretty generous. I gave a dude a rune scimmy the other day because I saw him trying to kill Elvarg with a mith long. I play the game because it's fun... If I can increase the amount of fun someone else has in the game at no cost to my own fun, then that's got to increase the overall amount of fun being had in the game - increasing the chances of some splashing back on me at some stage. crackfox04
I often give assorted mith and addy armour to people a) because they can't afford it, or B) they are nice people and don't have the levels, so I give them armour so they have an aim on rs. :D
Alduron
There are some very nice people out there... its just the few bad apples that give the general population a bad name. I was recently given 1 k raw lobsters by a total stranger (thats what i needed to get to 80 cooking) and I was trying to get someone to trade me 1 k raw for cooked... but this person just gave them to me for free so i could get my level... even though this individual was trying to get the same lvl. That was genuinely nice and very very much appreciated. ~Alduron
