Torchiclover Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Got some quick questions on the Ranging Skill. 1) How many Red Chin's does it take for 76-90 range? 76-99? 2) What is the best spot to Chin, Ape Toll, Chaos Tunnels, ect? 3) What is the best non-void setup to use? Frede173 Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Try chinning on Ape Atoll for an hour and see how much xp/chin you get on average. It should give you an idea of how many chins you'll need for 90/99. Unless you can afford pernix armour you should go with Armadyl. If that's too expensive use black d'hide. Don't use Karil's as the pieces have the same offensive ranged bonus as their d'hide counterpart. And you won't need any defensive bonuses as you'll be praying protect from melee. Quyneax Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Even if you can afford pernix it may not be worth it depending on how much it degrades etc. Either way I'd recommend getting void as it's a very useful set of armour. This guide has a chins/level table with void, I suppose you'll need about 10-15% more without void, and you need less if you have a geyser or steel titan.
