Which skill is worth giving assistance more towards?

Featured Replies

I'm going to be 90 Crafting soon, and I'm currently 91 Smithing, and I was just curious which skill is worth assisting more?

Sorry if I'm wording it poorly, but which would cost more to train efficiently is what I'm trying to ask.

I don't think it hugely matters.

Both skills are relatively cheap to train, even possible to profit on if you so desire.

Eg smithing cannon balls still make good money i believe, crafting battlestaves (bought from naff) and then alching them makes about 2k a staff.

More to the point though. Assist whichever you llike training less. I think you'd find it slightly easier to get craft, but it depends on a day by day basis.

Both methods you listed are extremely slow.

I never said they were fast methods; I said they made profit.

Both skills are essentially equal in terms of gp/h + xp/h (for the most part, not saying they're the same in all regards). I'd say give assist to whatever is available at the time or whatever people need assist with first.

Offer assistance in both skills. Pick whichever comes first, if you like training both skills equally.

Beat me to it

It doesn't matter really what you choose

Infact, both skills are so fast to train, it may almost be worth it to skip getting assists and just train the skill
