August 18, 201114 yr Hello, I would like to start a fresh account and max combat and slayer in as little time as possible, so efficient as possible. I was wondering what steps I should take, maybe a mini guide/summary on how to go about this including necessary quests, training spots and armor I should use.
August 18, 201114 yr Well, if you want extremely low times - you're going to need a lot of money.Items are (for most tasks):FSH/Bandos/Barrow gloves/Dboots/Fury/Berserker(i)/DDef/Fire CapeThere's no real substitution if you want to max asap. Uh, you're also going to need 95 prayer + 96 herblore (really like 91 or so) for turmoil + overloadsTurmoil everything, and only do good tasks.You should be cannoning everything you can, and I believe for slayer exp only - a good task lisk gets around ~48k slayer exp per hour (this is obviously not counting effigies/etc) http://forum.tip.it/topic/296282-blocking-tasks/page__gopid__4908693#entry4908693I asked a question about faster slayer exp and it's ^Look at post 6 for the task list(I basically copy/pasted the slayer guide on RSOF task list - the guide is very well and provides numbers on almost everything)
August 18, 201114 yr If you only want to max combat slayer, you'll have to look carefully at all quests and examine if they are worth it. Quests such as Legacy of Seergaze or Do No Evil may be worth it for the mutated bloodveld/kalphite spots even though they don't directly provide gear or large combat xp rewards. I don't know if those quests are worth it. Secondly, you have to work out when to start slayer. Starting at lower combat stats will mean you won't have to go beyond 99 melees/range as far to get 99 slayer, but you will get far slower slayer/combat xp without at least a whip, piety etc. to power through the higher defence tasks. Thirdly, you need money. At 65 defence, buy Bandos immediately. Get a fury, bracelet of regeneration and berserker ring as soon as you start, and altar some frost bones to get at the very least 43 prayer. Always train with super potions and 15% strength prayer active.
