Powerfrog
Ok i'd like to start out stating that i know void is better for certain weapons such as chaotic maul, and worse with bronze dagger, due to the % based increase opposed to the constant strength bonus of the bandos. I'm just curious at what strength bonus your weapon is, does void become higher damage. I'd also like to compare the accuracy a little on an almost unrelated point. First of all, it's assumed you're in otherwise maxed strength gear. (Within reason, no completionist cape or degradables, defender instead of DFS, fury over strength amulet, for usefulness.) Void helm ----------- NezzyVoid body ----------- BCPVoid legs ----------- TassetsVoid deflector ----------- Dragon defenderBarrows gloves ----------- Barrows glovesDragon boots ----------- Dragon bootsFury ----------- FuryBerserker ring (i) ----------- Berserker ring (i)Fire cape ----------- Fire cape 36 strength ----------- 51 strength I'm not exactly sure how the damage system works based on your strength bonus so i can't work it out myself, hell, i'm not even sure what % void melee boosts. If you disagree with the gear setup by all means use whatever you think is the 'ultimate' strength setup, i personally made those changes as that's what i'd do in actual gameplay. Also, how accurate would your weapon have to be in the above gear to make void, with deflector, more accurate? (If it's proportional to your opponents defense for some reason then lets use Graardor as an example.) TL;DR. When is void better than bandos for pure max hit purposes, is it at CLS? Rapier? Whip? Korasi? Dragon dagger? Bronze dagger?
Quyneax
Void increases gear bonus + invisible 64 base by 10% (20% damage for void range). So if you would normally use barrows gloves, Bandos and Neitiznot you would get either void, or +12 attack and + 21 strength. Void provides 6.4 bonus to each without any gear. That means you must have at least 56 +1 attack bonus for void to be more accurate and at least 146 + 1 strength bonus for void to have a higher max hit. When using a deflector, you will instead get defender, Bandos and Neitiznot, gaining +25 stab, +24 slash, +23 crush and +15 strength. You need at least 186 + 1 stab, 176 + 1 slash or 166 + 1 crush attack for void to be more accurate, and at least 86 + 1 strength for void to have a higher max hit. Are those 'you need at least' numbers the number for the weapon only. Or the weapon + any extra gear such as firecape etc?

(But most of it is already covered i.e helm/chest/shield/gloves/bottom)
