TD's/Handcannon

Recently unlocked TD's and been doing a trip a day usually averaging 18-25 kills per trip, looking for ways to speed up kills/increase kills per trip without using piety/eagle eye (as im still getting used to prayer switching/boss required apm). Currently using Rapier/Karils Xbow. A few questions semi-related;

Range is really slowing me down in terms of kills, sometimes taking up to 8 attacks before switching to melee for usually one hit then back to range again. Is 99 range and or a hand cannon really going to at least half that or is there another setup I should be using?

What level firemaking would 2 hand cannons last the entire trip? Currently at 75 firemaking and haven't been able to find a fail rate for these anywhere.

Is there anything else I've overlooked/forgotten that would speed things up?

(I know maul is preferred over rapier, cbf another 200k dg tokens for TD's)

Using extremes

Zerker ring

Karils top/bottom

Neitzinot helm

Fury

Ddef (with rapier)

Dboots

Fire cape

Unicorn

Well, your ranged level is a bit low, so naturally it's going to take longer to switch the ranged prayer. 99 ranged would be a lot better than 89, handcannon would also be quite a bit better than kxbow.

You could use void ranged w/ glaiven boots, but I think you'll just need a higher ranged level.

As for your handcannon question, I don't know, but 90+ is certainly enough, 85 probably as well.

Definitely use Void > Karils, have to switch one more thing but definitely worth it. Also try switching out the Karils Xbow for Rune Cbow w/ Diamond or Broad Bolts.

A CHAOTIC crossbow with RUNITE bolts deals 11% less raw DPS than Karil's crossbow while only having an 18% higher max attack roll. Considering the fact that Karil's definitely hits over 50% of the time on TDs, the chaotic will most certainly be marginally worse than Karil's at best, depending on ranged levels.

You're advising a setup hat's unequivocally worse than a chaotic w/ runite. Please don't.
