So, after a dagannoth task which I did by Solo Tribriding, I finally got a greater demon task, and I've been wondering what's a good inventory/yak for this.

 

As for gear I'll be using

Full Slayer Helmet

Amulet of Fury

Bandos Chestplate

Bandos Tassets

Dragon Boots

Barrow Gloves

ROL (Because my internet fails)

Elysian Spirit Shield

Chaotic Rapier

Soul Wars Cape

x1 Zamorak Arrow

Reverence Aura

 

As for inventory, I have overloads and turmoil, so I'm pretty much asking what else to fill it with, how many OVLS (Don't know how many kills I'd be able to achieve with ely + ovls + turm).

I'll be using Deflect Magic instead of Melee by the way.

Something along the lines of this tends to work for me, though this is usually for tanking for a team. Take one less ovl, though I doubt you'll use all three. Its a bit overkill on rests, try for the usual 3:1 ratio as usual, claws are better than an eee of course so long as you're willing to risk it, and soulsplit flash whenever possible. Bring a defender switch for minions and try stay on a fairly high popn world.

 

 

As for your setup, I'd switch out soul wars cape for an ardy cape 4 or even fire cape, you dont need to go overkill on prayer bonus really. As for kills I get about 15 max without an ely, so maybe you'll be looking at 20 per trip down to ely/FSH

Lol that many brews? I remember when I went solo on task with DFS that my brew/rest ratio wasn't so brew-ish o.O. But I guess I have to try setups until I find the ideal one for me.

Hey!, want to let you know that I edited a bit the setup and it did wonder, managed 12 kills. I had a bit of lag so I failed frequently at SS flash, and during one kill K'ril went nuts and hit two 450s. I only used ovl and a half, so for the next trip I'll have 2 ovls, 3 super prayers, 1 anti++, 6 rests and rest brews, I used your same yak except that I didn't bring Uni nor yak scrolls (Will consider bringing now though)

CLS > Rapier w/ shield on K'ril. Would also be worth it to run a 12x spec rest, 2 ovl inventory with claws. GWD bosses all have extremely high performance over a short period of time, K'ril especially so.

Torva plate would be better, yes. 1190 effective LP vs 1158 or something like that. Also higher defensive bonuses than BCP and frees up shield slot for a shield with better melee def or a defender (defender is likely better).

It's the defender that makes the rapier better than the CLS. K'ril's defence is not as non-existent as Supreme's.

Even with a shield, your only around 3% less accurate and the speed makes up for it

I used Grimy's calc which includes accuracy formulas

How do you know what K'ril's def roll is?

Going based on rolls from 200 onward, where it levels around 530. Grar's supposed roll is in the 590-600 range (from searching around another site, not entirely 100% on it), but also from the assumption that k'ril has lower defense. Though in comparison to CLS I've noticed I hit considerably more often than a friend, same melee stats and gear. Maybe a weakness to stab that might be tipping it that way too and its something almost useless that I wanna look into more when I get time, but unless I messed something up (other than assuming kril has lower defense) CR seems to be the better choice

There is no proof of him being weak to stab. His def is also going to be higher than 530. I can almost guarantee that. Also, Graardor has a stab def roll of 679 and a slash def roll of 639, based on Levon's extensive research. While K'ril does have slightly lower def, I'm fairly certain of it being in the high 500s-low 600s.
