Can the 3% bonus per piece of Hybrid be directly translated into Strength bonus?I'm trying to see if it's worth using, say, Goliath Gloves instead of Vanguard/Battlemage, or Steadfast Boots instead of their equivalents. Next,What's the ideal Waterfiends set-up now for Ancient Cavern?Once again, a percentage vs stats thing - With Void, to use Goliath Gloves you now have to use Deflector, eliminating the Dragon Defender that you would've had with using a different set up...So basically I guess are the str and atk bonuses from void better than bandos+def? Err, totally forgot, but is there a flexible timer, maybe one intended for Overloads but that I can use for other time lengths?

November 15, 201114 yr It does get a 3% in minigames, anyway. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
November 15, 201114 yr 3% boost to max hit would be a 3% boost to current strength bonus plus a 3% boost to the base 64 strength you have unarmed. With the +12 strength from vanguard/battle-mage, you'll have 3% of 76 boost at the very least, which is greater than the +1 strength from goliaths. For ancient cavern fiends, use full Bandos, max strength gear, goliaths with dragon defender and punch them with turmoil, overload, soul split to heal. But then also, I was totally oblivious that Vanguard/Battlemage Gloves already gave a +12 str bonus... :wall: However I'm now finding that Goliath Gloves are indispensable while playing Soul Wars, but I'll post some cool pics in the appropriate forum later. Thank you for answering about Waterfiends! However, do you think it would be a good idea to use a halo for the head slot since I have it available?
