Returning to Runescape

I've been gone for about 5 months now, and I have a few questions.

 

1. Any new combat gear I should get for doing slayer?

 

2. Are frost dragons do able again?

 

3. Any updates I might have missed that are cool/important?

1. Any new combat gear I should get for doing slayer? nope,still bando + sw cape + helm,you could invest in steadfast boots but not necessary

 

2. Are frost dragons do able again? yeah,but a new blue orb has been added that hits you if you attack while its active(stop attacking to avoid damage)

 

3. Any updates I might have missed that are cool/important? RoTM quest (New npc to kill/get loot off after its complete)

1. Any new combat gear I should get for doing slayer? Nothing comes to mind really, if you want you can get a pair of steadfast boots for 50-60M, they're a bit better than dragon.

 

2. Are frost dragons do able again? Indeed they are! Jagex recently did a HUGE update which removed most of the bots in RS: Bot Nuke Day. About a week before this update, they had added a new attack to Frost Dragons. A blue orb now appears before it does this attack, and if you continue to attack the dragon while it does this, it will deal you a good amount of damage. If it does this, just step away until it's over.

There are also new gloves from Dominion Tower that beat barrows gloves in terms of their specialties. While Goliath Gloves turn barehanded combat to a crush version of a whip.
