bhim
How exactly does the mud bath in Oo'Glog work as far as lasting effects? I am currently level 61 hunter, and I would like farming juju potions, meaning I need 74 hunter. As I understand it, bathing in the Oo'Glog mud spa would increase my hunter level by 6 levels, meaning that to boost to 74 I would need to train to level 68 hunter. But how long do the effects of the mud bath last? Will they last long enough for me to get to the Herblore Habitat and trap the jadinkos I need to trap? Or will I need to train all the way to 74 in order to get my jujus? Or maybe even 70 or 71 or something. Just wondering, any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Sy_Accursed
In a word:No. The boost acts pretty much the same as normal potions (I think it might be marginally longer) so you'd dip back down pretty much as soon as u laid your traps (assuming u tele to HH via juju bag or mask). It only really works if as a boost for some quick hunting (eg only need 1 catch) or for a quest start. Better choice would be hunter potion, boosts 3 levels. Quyneax
You can use the logging trick to keep the boost. If you log out every minute before the boost goes down, you'll keep it. But juju hunter potions wear off when you log, and I think traps might be lost :P. The_Fray
You are better off training hunter, I hated the skill but I some how managed to get to 80. Red sallies averaged around 85k xp per hour at level 75+ so it wasn't all that bad. I am assuming at level 60 you will fail quite a bit, so you might as well use the arctic bear if you have access to it. At higher levels you can ditch the bear since it is a little annoying to use.
