November 29, 201114 yr I'm trying to kill both of the nomads for the challenge, but I'm running into trouble since I don't have soul split yet. I hear storm of armadyl is the best option, how many casts will i need at 88 magic? What gear is advised? any advised inventory set up? I have overloads. anyways, is there any better methods? November 29, 201114 yr I'm not sure Storm is the best, but if it is you probably need 200 runes or so. The new gear is fairly cheap and has really high magic defence, so that's definitely a good setup. Otherwise, maximise magic attack bonus or strength bonus (if meleeing), use Armadyl staff or rapier (+ defender), borrow bgs to spec if meleeing. November 29, 201114 yr And bring either a spirit kyatt and use its special attack as often as possible, or a tortoise for brews/restores. You should be fine. :) Full set (ganodermic) is pretty low right now (under 10M for set), and lasts for 6 hours of combat. November 30, 201114 yr I used claws when I did 2x nomad and I think I had under 20xp drops for all 4 specs that I used -.- In the quest though, on the various accounts I've done Nomad on I've always used BGS/SWH. These spec weps are pretty effective for lowering his melee defence, but yeah storm of armadyl+gano is probably your best bet without SS Follow my road to 5.6/Gold Reaper/True Trim - DAT BLOG
