Auror
I Recently hit 95 Slayer, and started wondering if I should do Ganos for effigies, to use them on Slayer, or should I simply just do Regular Slaying.
Scherzo
the answer would be slaying, even if you don't account for this weeks nerf of effigies (drop rate is lowered)
Leik
I would recommend normal Slaying. Effigies have been nerfed pretty badly. For example, I heard SUOMI was only getting 1 effigy every 3 hours, whereas it was usually 1 effigy every hour on average (At Cave crawlers). Also:[hide][/hide] 1 Effigy in 1500 Ganos, lol. Then of course - you have to open it on the spot, which causes the gano's to walk off once out of combat. THEN you get random'd ah yep.Taken from the RS screenie thread. As you can see, he got one effigy after 1500 kills, whereas before the update it'd be once every 180-200 kills or so (on average). Hunting for effigies is hardly worth it after yesterdays update. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. [01:24:34] CJ Hunnicutt: it takes skill to be that [bleep]ing stupid

Vex
Yes, regular slayer now & cater your task list to balance summoning xp & slayer xp (and profit). Forget effigies now. http://www.[Caution! Jagex Rule Violation].com
