Arceus
Is it just me, or is there some profanity on Runescape's homepage after clicking a news item or such (specifically, in the Twitter feed)? Oops lol. Wonder why the website shows such old tweets though, it was posted hours ago theres like two dozen newer tweets since then. Bxpprod
Well, that's the issue of having a live feed out of your control. To be fair though, it isn't as thought Jagex has a hardline on the "offensive" language (as for shit being deemed offensive that's another matter). Look at the option to now remove the censor for language and the softening of the rule itself (can say things, just not direct them at other people etc). stonewall337
Language is inherently neutral, and unoffensive. Its the meaning attached to words, and how they are used that make a word offensive. I mean, literally, shit means poop. But it's deemed offensive so some people are offended. In other news, why does anyone give a crap if "offensive" language was quoted? [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara. There are people who are distinguishing between swear words, who are not allowed to be said, and other words, yet at the same time are incredibly insultive. They think it's wrong to say [bleep] when something bad or w/e has happened, yet they feel it's ok to say "you little f" because they didn't write out the word >.> It's all about the context.
