I am so very dumb with herblore

I've been working on figuring out EXACTLY what I need for bxp. Im getting the scroll of cleansing. I expect to have about 32mil to spend for it. I was told that should get to to about 85 which is good enough to stew. I used grimy's spreadsheets but im a stumped. It says that super defense is -19gp/xp but it costs over 3k to make, which with a terrible sell back leaves me completely broke to make brews/spec restores, or is 32mil not enough?

Honestly if someone could just reason out a best method for me I would love you forever, and delete all this help threads im flooding the board with.

Xp needed for 85?

Why super defenses?

What are you stewing for?

I got advice from people to go Super Str>Super Def>Sara Brew>Spec Restore, im doubting thats correct now

Im really only after Extreme Attack/Str. I can't really afford much higher (If I can afford those) and don't have the time or moneymakers to boost cash stack high enough to get past it.

Do Super Attacks or Super Strengths, 14gp/per exp or 16gp/per exp.

Strengths are 25% faster.

If you're doing super attacks stick with them the whole way, if you do super strengths swap to ranging at 72 and brews at 81.

Thanks, but It looks like im way short of extremes. I dont think I will ever get to them without being able to play much more than I do now, I could probably get maybe 30mil, which MIGHT get me close, depending on my APM

Edit: With Scroll I MIGHT just get it, about 45mil before bonuses doing all Super Attacks, so assuming I can get 15mil's worth of xp as bonus (937k) for free I might be good

EDIT2: If Super Strengths are 25% faster, would it be more beneficial to do them since I will get a better return on my bxp time? Would the extra 2gp/xp be negated by the extra bonus xp?

The exp 45 minutes of super strengths give would be equal to an hour of super attacks.

Meaning, if you could make enough cash to counter balance the extra gp per xp doing the faster one would be far better.

Also, since you're using the bxp weekend faster exp would uses your multiplier more effectively.

It's very easy to calculate.

Eg. You're hesiting between sup att and sup str for your first half hour.

You can expect to make 1000 pots in half an hour.

Sup att cost 15gp/xp and yield 100xp. So at a cost of 1.5m you get 270k xp.

With the multiplication taken in account it ends up costing 5.5gp/xp.

Sup att cost 17gp/xp and yield 125xp. So at a cost of 2.125m you get 337.5k xp.

With the multiplication taken in account it ends ip costing 6.3gp/xp.

So for a mere 0.8gp/xp more you get 67500 more xp in that half hour, concluding that sup str is better.

Calculate this for every half hour to have a detailed plan. If you can't be bothered calculating then generally it's best to use high xp potions in the first hours. Speed is important

because you want to get to making your extremes asap as they have high xp that multiplies nicely with a multiplication counter that is still high.

I thought it was 1000pots per hour. Hmmm so I may be able to work this.

Final question: From past experience, when should I start buying supplies

It's 1000/h when starting with clean herbs. At bxp weekend your herbs should already be all in water vials. The part where you put the herb in the water vial gives no xp, only the unf -> 2nd part does.

Last bxp weekend what happened with prices is that when bxp was announced 2 weeks in advance prices skyrocketed for a few hours, then went down slowly back to normal price. If it follows the same pattern the smart thing to do would be to buy supplies beforehand, sell them 1-3 hours after bxp weekend is announced in order to capitalize on the panic, and then when people realize they have plenty of the time the price goes back down and you buy all your supplies again(this time for real use). There's no guarantee the same thing will happen next weekend though, and there's no saying just how little or how much in advance it will be announced, try at your own risk.
