achieving goals with low cash stack

hey just some questions i would like answered by the wise :) haha

i am trying to complete the fight kiln and if you notice in my stats i don't have a pak yack and not even a unicorn, was wondering if i should continue to attempt it or get 88.

The only problem is i only have 15m :/ how can i make it reach my goal?

The gear i usually use in fight kiln is i wear:

veracs helm, acrane stream necklace, infinity boots, mage book, soul wars cape, barrows gloves then went different waves come i use:

dhoarks plate and body, , rapier, gandomeric top/bottom, polypore staff and choatic crossbow, is that beatable?

also what do i pray when the big mages come with the rangers i could randomly dieing and gives me the shits?

what are the amounts of overloads, prayer renewals and brew i should use

random: lost 225m because i staked my bank for a youtube video for shits and gigs then gave all money to my irl mate incase i got tempted to go again then he got keylogged and lost my cash, which is why only have 15m

From things I've heard about the Kiln, at higher levels, it's doable with a steel titan (so no healing/extra brews at all, just more dps). It's worth using ranged on the mages but in order to melee you need to move out of your safespot and that isn't worth it.

With Soul Split + eee + overloads you won't need any healing up to wave 20 or so, if you can ss flash well (hint: have more than 4 fps when you do this).

In ganodermic or ranged gear you pray range when there are mages + rangers and kill the mages first, but you should be able to lure them to not get hit by both at once 99% of the time.

Bring 3 overload flasks and renewal flasks (6), second war tortoise pouch, tort full of brews, eee, 12 restores (6) I guess? and the rest of your inventory also brews, should be plenty.

Pray against what would be hitting you most (in ganodermic, that's ranged unless there is a ket-zek/level 400).

Kill what is actually hitting you most with that protect prayer on (in ganodermic with protect ranged, that's the mages, with protect mage, it's the rangers of course).

You'll need two unicorns, so start with one summoned & bring a spare pouch. 3 overload flasks, 3 renewal flasks, polypore staff, eee, Karil's crossbow, ganodermic/max mage with Ardougne cloak and bolt racks equipped? Fill the rest of your inventory with half brew flasks half restore flasks.

This is what I wore for gear:

Melee: Torags

Mage: Ganodermic

Though I had Elysian Spirit Shield and Pack Yak (though it died halfway and lost a few brews/sup restores).

I did not have Soulsplit/Turmoil nor Overloads. I never used any pots either.

For the familiars, uhm you could try a war tortoise and a unicorn together. I think you should bring 2 pouches for war tortiose just in case but again if you find it is fine w/o 2 then bring one instead. Always good to try some experimenting as well.

Also do you have overloads, and turmoil/soul split?

I also hope you know the safespots for each monster.

For the mage/range monsters... I'm pretty sure in the earlier waves, the "L" safespot would be the best place.

Otherwise it might be the " _ " safespot though it depends on which wave you are referring to.

Good luck, hope you get your cape!

why do i keep failing at jad?

like 11 attempts now and have only beat him once.. the [bleep]

I assume you are:

a) on a low ping world.

b) doing everything you can to increase your fps, if it is low.

If your ping is low, and fps is high, and you're still having difficulty with Jad, the only thing you can do is practise.

I personally have done the Kiln 3 times now. First attempt was with a Yak, and I had 17 (6) Brews left... So i tried again with no BoB, only Unicorns, and I had 5 (6) brews left.

So most recently I did it with no familiar at all. Scraped through with 9 doses of brew left. Bear in mind I have no expensive gear. I maged the whole thing with polypore (not enough invy space to take melee switches with no BoB).

Just use the "L" safespot waves 1-20, you'll take no damage at all. Then get using the central safespot. Remember to put your pps on longrange when needed, to avoid ruining your lures.

I used the RSWiki to learn where each Jad spawned (although my first attempt I managed to get through without that knowledge).

One final thing to note:

I do not know if this has been fixed, but there is a glitch with Jad's attack animations, which *might* be the reason you keep dying to him. As everyone knows, when he is about to mage, he breathes fire and rears back on his hind legs, and when he is about to range, he slams both forelegs into the ground.

The glitch is when he does back to back range attacks. He starts to breathe fire, before slamming his feet into the ground. This can make people pray mage, only for him to use range. I know it's a glitch, because it only happens with back to back range attacks. If he mages, then ranges, it doesn't occur.

Hope that made sense >.<
