Lord_Muijs Posted January 28, 2006 Share Posted January 28, 2006 if you dont care about the set effects and only want a helluva lot of def, then you use full torags + obby shield/drag sq+whip. with obby shield that set would add up to about 6.5M. this is BETTER def than full dragon. repairing the barrows parts of this would cost around 200k each time. say full drag is 30M. (30M/200k)*15=2250. it would take 2250 hours of PURE TRAINING to make it cost you the SAME amount as full dragon. not to mention it gives you way better defence. thats 3 MONTHS of NON-STOP training. i'd say you get barrows :wink: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SaidinWoT Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 The thing about this debate is that both have their advantages and disadvantages: Dragon - Certainly it's expensive and less defense than Barrows, but at the end of all your training, you can resell for full value, whereas with Barrows, you're tossing all that money away and can only resell a small amount. Barrows - Better defense, but as I said, you can only resell for a fraction of the price you spent training with it. These are both assuming the ideal conditions of NOT losing either armor from death.
