Dachef
hey guys (and girls, of course) is there any chart or known calculation on how much slayer costs? i m planning on getting 96, for which i think i have all the charms needed. 4'145'983 xp remaining (currently lvl 90). atm i have 1400 blues (geysers), 7200 crims (saving till 92, wolpetinger at 92) and a few hundred greens and golds for which ill make unicorns and barker toads..i'll trade 99.9% of the pouches for the shard-refund. now i'm wondering how much that would cost.. im talking about all of it, so shards, pouches and seconds (rings and familiars wont make much of a diff and i think i have a few of those left..)is anybody here good at maths? ^^or has somebody tracked their way from 90-96? oh and another thing: is now a good time for that, regarding the cost of seconds or are they dropping/rising? should i do it now or wait another couple of weeks? thaaaaaank you very much for your help! side-question: is a zerker ring still worth it and better than this new tok-ring? Octarine
This untility should work wonders for your summoning: Charm pattern Remember to exclude the obvious annoying pouches like obsidian familiars and such Edit: zerker is better in every situation when meleeing unless you're killing tz-harr (tokkul-zo) or in kuradals dungeon (fero ring) Blog of DG, Bossing (mostly Glacors) and stuff - Runetrack Play Safe! - Got useful information for the tip.it website? Sy_Accursed
http://users.telenet.be/glodenox/Charms/CharmPattern.html - This is a god of summoning planners for helping to plan the best order in which to use your charms and telling you how many shards to buy (and their cost) Grimy's spread sheet will help with finding second costs, but youll need to do the math urself:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdGJGSFF1N3YzejExVDNWV2M2ZkFoNHc#gid=0 As for zerker ring, if memory serves it is slightly better than the thzarr ring, so is worth it. The thzaar ring does, however, render seers and archers redundant as it matches them; this is until you do MA to get imbued rings of course. Dachef
wow nice tool!! thanks alot! a few question about it: does it calculate the fastest or the cheapest way to reach a certain lvl? what does the "always work with at least XXX" mean? what do i have to enter there? and whats the scaling factor? difference between cost of "init shards" and "lost shards"? Octarine
it should always try make the most of your charms, so the fastest xp to your level. You can use grimys sheet to figure out which pouches are way too expensive and exclude them from the charmpattern calc though. Scaling factor should be left at 100%, that'd only change on bxpw or if using the ring from citadel. As for initital shards, I'm not too sure :P the help section of charmpattern seems to have lots of info Blog of DG, Bossing (mostly Glacors) and stuff - Runetrack Play Safe! - Got useful information for the tip.it website? Sy_Accursed
Initial shards = Shards you need to initially buyShards Lost = Shards that are used up during training and never gotten back as trade-in only returns 75(?)% of shards used to make a pouch. The difference between the two values is how much gp you saved by trading in.EgInitial shard cost = 300kLost Shard cost = 200kYou still have 100k worth of shards left after all trade ins Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Quyneax
"Always work with at least ... % of my initial shards" matters only to the timeline of trading in pouches for shards and the initial number of shards. Basically it means you will only do transactions with at least ...% of the shards you start with. It calculates the most xp you can get with the charms you have along with the number of shards required for that. You have to disable the expensive and annoying pouches yourself. Initial shards is the number of shards you must buy to get through their suggested timeline without buying more. Shards lost is the number of shards you lose during their suggested timeline. Dachef
ok sounds good. it seems to be a difference of 25 gp anyway so that wont matter too much ;) does this sound good to you guys or should i skip/change something? Sy_Accursed
Seems reasonable though personally I'd exclude Arctic Bear because they are fairly expensive and polar kebbit furs don't buy all that easily in my experience (and then I'd also block war torts since the shells cost too much, though if you got the funds they are ok) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
