Sir_Mortus
I recently decided to give Runescape a try again and went members after the intro. I played a few years back and use to level up killing Chaos Druids, now I am wondering if there is a better alternative as these are getting slightly boring. I currently have Full Mithril with a Scimitar. 25 Attack 23 Strength 20 Defense (I train them all 5 levels at a time). I'm also trying to make money off the monsters I kill as well, or get items that are useful towards leveling.Thanks.
Ambler
Chaos Druids are a good choice at your level, and once you hit about 30 defense and 40 melees, you could move onto killing Bandits, though that is optional, and you could stick with druids until the 50s if you wishBe sure to complete quests that give exp (Namely Waterfall quest), as this saves a ton on the lower levels, allowing you to get to the faster methods more quickly. Noxx
My advice, do as many quests as you can, for now. Some of the earlier quests give you a large amount of exp, open up new training methods and unlocks a selection of armour and weapons that will greatly improve your training experience. Blaze The Movie Fan
I suggest any monster that drops a clue scroll, because I find doing clues to be pretty good. I don't fight many low level monsters. Because I'm obviously at a very high level. But any monster that drops a level 1 clue scroll (like al-kharid warriors) will do. Al-Kharid warriors also drop air staffs pretty often, and that can give a decent amount of money. So if you're at a low level I'd say go for Al-Kharid warriors. There probably are better monsters to fight. But I don't fight low level monsters often, so that's really the best advice I can give.
Dmitri Odin
I would definitely fight druids. You will make pretty good money from the herb drops. Slayer is a great way to level combat and you get to work on multiple skills at once (lifepoints, att/str/def, and slayer). I would talk to the slayer trainer in Burthrope to get started. Slayer also mixes up what monsters you fight so it's not as boring as camping druids. So fight druids for money or do slayer for reduced profit but more variety. -dmitri
