I'm thinking about meleeing the whole caves, buying gano top and bottom + polypore staff for use on Jad so I don't have to worry about prayer switching and buying torags to up the defense on everything until Jad + upping the magic defelect damage done to the 360's. Inventory will probably be something like ... Gano top and bottom + polystaff & EE3 Prayer renewal flasks9 Super Restore flasks2 Extreme attack and 2 extreme strength potionsThe rest brews thoughts and suggestions? I've made it to jad 3 times meleeing the whole way only to derp on him at about 1/4 health. Figured gano tanking the magic attack would help reduce the odds of me dying. Hedgehog
I usually go with void + rapier and around 15-20 ppots. You can ss everything but the 360s. Pray mage and kite them instead. You'll have around a 33% chance of clawing out jad when the healers come, assuming you're overloaded and everything. I wouldn't bother with gano, since you can't tank the mage hits as well as everyone says you can and his mage def is fairly high. You'll end up using a ton of brews for a lower chance of clawing out jad.

I can buy claws if I have to but a 33% chance at clawing him out doesn't seem worth it for an hours worth of work. I'll give it a try but I don't see void being worth it at my defense level. Especially trying to soul split while a 360 is up. Hedgehog
Pray mage when there is a 360 up :P Supers should be fine, and ya killing jad sucks customer its a game of chance. There are people who claim to be able to do stuff with the healers, but I call BS.

Hedgehog
No idea. They claim that you can stand X squares away from jad and they wont heal, or that they wont heal once you attack them, but it's all hocus pocus.
Th e Doctor
What about double claw specing right off the bat and then trying to get 1-2 hits of rapier in to finish him Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
Quyneax
Bad idea, I'd go with taking him to half health then clawing, that works. Incidentally void is bad for clawing, even just goliaths beats it iirc? Assassin1357
No idea. They claim that you can stand X squares away from jad and they wont heal, or that they wont heal once you attack them, but it's all hocus pocus. I thought that it was pretty much standard strategy to attack the healers to draw them away from jad? Or did they change it? I haven't played in a while so they may in fact have changed it with the fight kiln release or something
Low Levelled
Runeshark has 3 really good jad videos all less than 2 months old that I recommend watching. It shows how to deal with the healers perfectly.

Platinum_Myr
The healers keep getting messed with. They now heal as long as they are next to Jad even if they are attacking you. You basically have to lure them completely away from jad. Personally, I'd bring claws and attempt to spec him as soon as the healers show. As for soaking mage, as long as you also have the eagle eye kite the soak is fine. I killed jad with just gano and it was difficult. I nearly ran out of brews. But if you have flasks, and gano + eek, the max hit of jad is something like 470, but he is far more likely to only hit in the 300s. That can be brewed out of, and he won't always attack mage, and the high defense of gano means that he will miss sometimes. It isn't very hard to survive without pray swap now. Without eek, his max jumps to about 600, though.. That's a lot more dangerous.
