Fight Kiln final wave (Boss)

Alright, so i decided to give it another go.

I pretty much have everything figured out now up until the last wave.

As it stands i' on Wave 32. I still have all 3 Mage Crystals, Restore Crystals and 2 Invulnerability Crystals, along with 7 Brew Flasks, 1 Super Restore Flask and about 1 and a half Super Prayer Flasks.

I'm planning on using the 1st Mage Crystal on the Double Jad wave and use whatever is left of it during the final wave. I was planning on using the Mage Crystals first, while i still have Brews for healing. I'm hoping that the 2 Crystals and 7 Brews should be enough to get me through it. If not, then i'll first use an Invulnerability Crystal and then start using the Restore Crystals.

 

Now my tactics for the boss is this:

 

I'm going to try and find a corner, during the first few minutes, that has either no or one tentacle and pray whatever attack style he is using. As i progress i'll probably have no choice but to stand in a corner where there are more than one tentacle both using different attack styles. If this is the case i'll pray Ranged and Blood Barrage the Mage tentacle.

 

Now the one thing i am a bit unsure of is this. Watching a guide on Youtube the guy mentioned that the fish head surfaces every 30 seconds, for 25 seconds, or something like that. Now if this is correct, should i start looking for the head every 30 seconds and risk taking a large amount of damage, or should i wait it out until he's in close range?

 

Any other tips would be great.

 

Edit: Are the tentacle spawns the same on the South as they are on the north? Because, if they are, i assume it would be best for me to stand in either the South West or South East corners since this gives me a few of 2 spawn points?

Head only appears west/south/east, your standing corner should be either s/w or s/e, try and kill the tenticals as fast as you can rather than pray tanking it.

 

When you are attacking the head make sure you still avoid tentcials, try staying in a corner at all times, but not within the melee distance of the tenticals(2 squares away, do not go off edge at all)

 

I wouldnt suggest using mage crystals at all s they just cripple your range level which is needed to clear the tenticals

Yeah i would use the magic crystal at the start of the double jad wave. When i got to the boss i used all three of my constitution crystals to boost my hp and then i brewed up to my new max hitpoint, this was incredibly handy for maging the boss as i could fight him for longer without having to eat.

I never used the restoration or the invunerability crystals as i need the extra hitpoints to prevent myself from being comboed. The invunerability crystals would protect me from all the damage for 20 seconds but you would have to use it just before the head appears.

I believe the video suggests that if you don't attack the head and it dissappears then it'll come back in 30 seconds, but if you attack it, it'll come back in 72 seconds. i would just count every 30 secs and move from the corner to see where the head is. I just tanked the tentacles rather than killing them, but i did seek the corner with the fewest tentacles.

Waves: I didn't use any crystals until the beginning of wave 35. Luring/praying jad while tanking a 400... no thanks. Also make sure on wave 36 you stand here - that way you won't have to tank either of the two Jads when luring.

Boss: I dropped my remaining invulns first and after that, the mage crystals. Mage crystals last for a long time, and the boost from them isn't negated by brewing. I didn't range the tentacles as someone above suggested... I believe it would be better to PPS or blood barrage. That way not only are you always taking advantage of the mage crystal boost, but also not having to bother with Super Restores (except for prayer).
