I kinda wanna get 1-3 non combat 99s. I was thinking magic/fletch/cooking (yeah I know all of them are easy skills but im not looking for cool 99s >.>)

 

I havent played rs for 2-3years so I dont really know the best training methods anymore. Im looking for as afkable methods as possible. When i got my 94 mage it was mostly alching yew longs or smth like that, is that still a good way of training mage and whats the cost nowadays?

 

Also average costs/hours for each of those skills, and mb some others that I dont realise that are easy to level fast these days.

 

Besides skilling all I do is PK/slayer/treasure trails/barrows(havent tried this since i came back, has something changed?)

 

 

EDIT: As you can see my dungeoneering lvl is 1. Is it worth raising and how quick is it? Also what weapon should i be using for att/str training while slayer? Currently using winewhip for att and I have 0 str weps.

Dg is def worth raising. Get it to 80 and then get a chaotic rapier for slaying. Fletching is pretty easy, cut maple logs if your short and money an if not, fletch broad arrows.

Firemaking is very easy to level, either through Herblore Habitat and Curled Vines, or Bonfires (I'd suggest HH personally, the seeds are extremely useful for Juju farming and mining potions). HH is also free, and can be over 300k xp an hour.

 

Runecrafting is a good choice too, with the release of the Runespan. It is fairly AFK, and the best Runecrafting xp in the game (unless you have a lot of effigys saved up!). You're looking a good 70-100k from what I have heard, and Runespan is completely free.

 

Hunter is also a good choice. Once you hit the higher level creatures, you can make a good amount of cash per hour, or a good amount of xp too. Grenwalls and Pawyas are the best bet for money, being 800kish an hour last time I checked, and the XP isn't too bad. Jadinkos are the best XP really, but are no profit. You also get the same kind of seeds for the Juju farming and mining potions, which are extremely useful, and well worth having.

 

Fletch is not very fast unless you spend a lot of money on Broad arrows, so I'd suggest you steer clear (a personal choice, I hate fletching) :P

 

Cooking is.. it can make you some profit, and it can be decent xp/hr, but cooking is boring as hell :P

 

Dungeoneering would be my top point :) It's a lot of fun, has a lot of useful rewards, and can be extremely fast xp/hr once you get a decent amount of experience in the skill, and if you find some decent team mates :)

Usefulness-wise, I'd recommend 99 summoning, prayer, herblore. But of course two of those are combat skills and they are very expensive.

 

If you want relatively easy non-combat 99s I would say dungeoneering, firemaking, woodcutting. Woodcutting isn't that fast but it ties in very nicely with firemaking, and it's free. First get 83 firemaking with yew/magic logs & bonfires, then go to the Jadinko lair to get 92 firemaking (you'll get 161.6 woodcutting xp per 1514.8 firemaking xp - about 410k xp total). Then get an inferno adze, use that to level woodcutting @ teaks (will also get firemaking xp), alternating with more jadinko lair, until you have 99 both.
