stlboy07
Hey everyone! So I just recently got my bunyip and have used it on a couple tasks...... but I was curious if using a bunyip in a hellhound task would suffice with my 80 def lvl. Or if I should just protect pray or use guthans. I just don't want to be getting hit too often for my bunyip to really work well for me.... Thanks! Naive
Hellhounds hit rather hard for their level. I'd suggest barrows or bandos armor with a bunyip and food in invo, since they don't have any drops aside from bones, charms, and clues. Scherzo
Just bring a few pieces of food in addition to your bunyip, and you should do fine. No need to bring in protection prayers. Add in a super defence pot as well if you want, they are cheap as dirt nowadays. Guthan is not worth it, it's better to just use your best attack and lose a few attack rounds if you have to eat, than to bother with the spear+loss of black mask/slay helmet. If you're doing them as a task (otherwise why do them?) Cannon them in the resource dungeon, pray melee and piety/turmoil and use super/extreme potions. Hedgehog
Defense shouldn't be an issue because you cannon them in the resource dungeon. Of course, if you're going to be inefficient and kill them in kura's, you should protect melee and use your best boosting prayer. Never use food when slaying. Serpent Eye
Since the loot kind of sucks and your inventory might be a bit empty, you could also bring your Bonecrusher if you have it. :-) Small amount of XP, but hey, every little bit helps.
