I'm just a few days shy of 85 dung, so I'm hoping they're still worth doing. My other question is what the ideal ranged setup is. Yes, I know, meleeing may be more efficient, but I want to get them with ranged. The guide here suggests using a handcannon, but I think that was made before the release of dragonbane bolts. Lord Paul Posted May 18, 2012 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Yes, it's still worth doing. Handcannon's speed was nerfed, but I'm not positive if the guide has taken that into consideration. I think your best bet would be void + deflector with rune bolts and dwarf cannon of course. Not doubting you, just surprised.It's 219 vs. 179 ranged strength ((82+62)*1.5 vs. 115+64, roughly corresponds to dps). So about 22% higher dps, cannon of course does a lot of work but it should be about 10% better kph. I don't know how kxbow compares, but 41 extra ranged attack for the rune crossbow.
