November 7, 201213 yr Grats! You're probably looking at the same droprate of boots that I have gotten then. I got 2xsteads, ragefires and glaivens in ~1300kills. SO depending if you're a glass half full or half empty type, it's about 300 or 400 kills to get 1 pair. :D

November 12, 201213 yr Author Tried to complete Fight Kiln today. I got to wave 27 using only 1 dose of brew and 2 baskets of strawberries. Then I got too cheap thinking I didn't need to heal and got KO'd. Oh well its pretty fun I'll try again tomorrow :)
November 12, 201213 yr Author So I tried kiln with this setup: Got to har-aken easily with about 6 brews left. Then got owned really hard sadly :( I still plan to try it again. I just need to adjust some stuff -Gonna get flasks as I'm only 2 craft levels away -Way too many super restores, replace some with brews (I'd say 19 Brew flask, 11 super restore flask is fine)this actually requires me to get 57 brew drops off mature grotworms but thank god theyre pretty common lol -Tortoise->Bunyip seems to be the way to go as I almost have the standard tacklebox that holds 18 raw food in 1 inventory space (thats 3600 LP healed with bunyip scrolls, with no ticks wasted eating) [Fruit Bat was useless!] -Maybe replace broad bolts with diamond (e) to make the waves go faster therefore saving food -Goliath gloves instead of korasi (But I'd have to get brews for nomad fight in DT) -Try to get melee legs off barrows, rune legs/karil skirt has rather low ranged def One thing I'm not sure about though. Should I just keep using ancients (blood,ice) or get arma bstaff and runes? I'm 28 shards away from the staff, then I'd need some more shards for the runes of course (64 runes per shard)I splash alot using ancients for some reason :/ Your opinions please, I really want this done before EoC :(
November 14, 201213 yr Author Got karil crossbow from barrows today :) that means I have full karil set :P finished off morytania hard tasks for the double runes from barrows. Also burnt 200 vyrewatch and got guthix page, sara page and TWO dragon spears haha. Then I tested out the new dungeoneering xp, quite pleased with it got 72-77 dg

I'm 28 shards away from the staff, then I'd need some more shards for the runes of course (64 runes per shard)I splash alot using ancients for some reason :/ Your opinions please, I really want this done before EoC :( Ok lemme see if I can help you out a bit:- I would suggest 1 super restore for every 3-4 sara brews- tortoise to bunyip with the box sounds great once tort is empty- broad bolts will probably do fine so unless you have easy access to diamonds don't bother with them- Ancicent vs SOA: well, it will make boss fight quicker but it doesn't really matter that much as far as completing the caves goes, if you have time before EOC, get SOA, if not, just do on ancients.- Have atleast 2 slots open in your inventory for invulnerability and restoration (i like to keep 3 open spots so I can use magic crystal on melee waves)- melee leggins - if you got them great, if not, no big deal imo. - make sure to check out smokey9112 guide on youtube about boss fight. If you follow that, you should be able to do the boss easily. The main mistake people make is that they don't realise that while the head is gone they can sit in a corner with only one attack style tentacle attacking without taking any damage. So they end up getting blasted from all sides and getting hit on a lot. (that's the mistake I made on my first 2 attempts, luckily for me I had a shitton of brews to spew, so i still completed it) I guess that's all, hope you get it done before eoc rolls around :) Also on a side note: Screw you and your good luck on wyre corpses and other drops, all i got from 500 corpses was [bleep]-all. :D
