p2p combat maxing help?

is there any good 1-99 combat guide or can some1 help me here please?

 

108 combat, 90 attk, 85 str, 86 def.

 

What monsters for best exp? what items and armour should I use? I got 12m cash atm.

Most people will recommend slayer for combat because of its various other benefits - summoning charms, cannon range xp, effigies, access to money making etc.. If you are aiming for a max account in the long run or even a PvM account you are best off with slayer. To purely max combats I believe Dagganoth Sentinels [not sure I got this right been away a while] are the best combat xp give them a quick youtube search and you'll probs find some guides I think someone posted a video guide a couple of days ago in the '200m in All Skills' thread in general discussion.

Oh as for gear - Zerker > Fury > Bandos > Extremes > Turmoil > Overloads

With your 12m I'd suggest:

Your best melee weapon avaiable (whip/rapier)

Neit Helm/Slayer Helm

Dragon Defender

Fury

Zerker ring

Fighter Torso (If you already have one)

Verac Skirt

Dragon Boots

Barrows Gloves

 

You know the usual :) - stock up on prayer potions as well though these will speed up your training a lot and a pretty darn cheap atm.

Your best bets are (in order of best xp/hr)

 

1. Dagannoth Sentinels in the dominion tower (260 k/hr)

2. Climber mode in dominion tower (varies on which bosses are unlocked, 180-400 k/hr)

3. Vyrelords with a maxed blisterwood polearm (150 k/hr)

4. Slayer (120 k/hr average with maxed gear)

 

Id say go with slayer. You'll at least geat charms and the occasional effigy. Train str to 99 from where you are now, then attack, then defense.

Nononono, not slayer >.>. Unless you want slayer xp, don't slay, not for combat xp, not charms, not effigies, not anything.

 

First, get 110 combat. I can't see your stats, but you should at least get 70 prayer as part of this, and strength for the remaining levels. Also get a chaotic rapier if you want dungeoneering levels and/or intend to boss hunt past 99 melees.

 

Then go to the Dominion Tower, fight in Climber & Endurance to unlock the rewards there (make sure you have completed Blood Runs Deep). When you unlock the dagannoth sentinels fight, just keep fighting them in freestyle. Attack one, let the others heal.
