84-90 Ranged

Anyone know a (semi-)efficient way to get 90 ranged w/o chins as they are quite expensive =d.

 

I don't have much funds to pay for it and just have Royal D'hide =(.

Chinning really is the only option for power training range if that's what you want to do you should earn the money to do so. Judging by your slayer level you don't mind that too much and should be cannoning those tasks which are good to cannon which should earn you a decent whack of range experience. It should be noted that chinning from 84-90 range will not cost you a particularly large amount of money and will be incredibly quick. In terms of total hours spent to gain these levels your best bet would be to make the money to chin and then to chin it would probably still be faster than alternative methods.

Other options include ranging vyrelords/ladies (Branches of Darkmeyer req and 500 corpses burnt highly recommended) for ~ 150-160 k xp/hr not including prep time (making the stakes). Ammo costs nothing monetarily but is a waste of time.

You can cannon aberrant spectres for slight profit/break even.

 

You can range dagannoth sentinels in Dominion Tower (Blood Runs Deep and beating them once in Climber or Endurance required) for ~160 k xp/hr with a royal crossbow.

 

Best option is make the money for chinning. Will take the least amount of overall time and money.

I think cannoning wallaskis and using wallaski bane is somewhat efficient.

I don't like it to grind for money only to be able to get very fast exp.

 

At the moment I'm getting 85 Agility so I can slayer a tad more efficiently due to shortcuts =3.

I want to get 90 slayer before EoC comes out. So I quess I will cannon my slayer tasks! and as cannonballs aren't that expensive anymore, I can see myself working 1-2h to buy 10k cannonballs... So now I need a decent list of tasks I can block/cancel =d..

 

Anyone got a good list of monsters I need to block/cancel? I still only need charms for 88-90 so Charms aren't needed to focus on. I think I could get close to 96 anyways with 81-90 slayer =/.

Block: spiritual mages, gargoyles, jungle strykewyrms, desert strykewyrms, warped tortoises and vyrewatch.

Skip: Living rock creatures, dust devils, waterfiends, skeletal wyverns, grifalopines, mutated jadinkos, blue dragons, nechryael, terror dogs

Do: Hellhounds, dark beasts, ice strykewyrms, fire giants, black demons, greater demons, suqah, mithril dragons, iron dragons, steel dragons, black dragons, abberant spectres, kalphites, TzHaar Jad, dagannoth, bloodveld

 

Skip metal dragons if you're not going to use Storm of Armadyl for mage xp.

Some of the skip tasks do have fair charm rates but they have low ranged xp rates, especially without a steel titan.

Jad tasks are only worth it if you can do them quickly, under 40 minutes at least.

Grinding for money is the same as grinding for slow xp. Grinding for fast xp also means you spend less total time grinding.

This list seems something I can work with. But I'll do Vyres and Waterfiends just because I like those tasks =3. So what should I then block in place of vyres?
