Someone else came in @ 8 am to [the newest cart attendant so I said to go to the GM side]. The Grocery side was 1/3 full so there was a lot out on the lot so I got those in 1st. Had to use 2 reserves by 10 am since I had to get electric carts in & did a carryout. someone came in @ 10 am & someone came in @ 11 am. They helped til 12 til I was supposed to go to lunch but Mrs. Betty said for me to go to the GM side. It was full over there so I just got garden center some buggies & just kept the garage full. On my lunch break I went to get some gas. I had 1/2 a tank so I used a calculator to see how much more I needed to get it full. I went in to pre-pay & got $13 in then it slowed down. I kept putting more in & then someone said it was leaking under neath. I had to stop about .29 till what I paid for. I got in & the fuel gauge didn't move [it has always moved every other time.] Got back to work & called my mom to let her know something might be wrong with my car. They were out on the boat on the river. I just helped on the Grocery side for the rest of the day. It stayed pretty busy & had less than 20 buggies inside. We were able to get it pretty full before I left. While I was driving back home the fuel gauge went back up to full so that's good to see. I will pick up Cindy tomorrow morning before 8 am when I go in.Sounds like you might have had an air bubble in the gas tank... At least, I hope that's all it was. :blink: ~D. V. It wasn't to busy again but one quick cart messed up :( We think a fuse went out on it so hopefully they can come quickly to fix it. I was Off today & they didn't call me in. I just stayed home & played Cookie Clicker & RS [mostly on Cookie Clicker as I made an Ascension so it is a lot faster to get cookies now] . I never had that shift time before [4-8:30 pm] I helped on the grocery side til 7 pm. We got almost all of the buggies off the lot on the GM side before 8 pm so it wasn't busy after that. Someone came in @ 10 am so I said that just to line up the buggies on that side & I will get them in. I got a few lines in for him then went back to the grocery side & it was about half full. I put a reserve line in & got buggies off the lot. Someone else came in @ 11:30 so they helped me get the GM side full & then I went to lunch. As I walked by the grocery side it was 1/3 full but I had 3 reserves left. I got back & didn't have any reserves & there were a lot out on the lot. Someone else came in @ 2. I just stayed on the grocery side & used the quick cart. I got it almost full before I left. I am off for the next 3 days :) Hope I don't get called in. We looked @ brick samples for his house. We watched 2 episode of the New Star Trek show on CBS. I am off the next 3 days unless I get called in. Matt258 Posted October 7, 2017 Author Share Posted October 7, 2017 21,332 I got all of those days off but Walmart did call me on Tuesday & Wednesday but I didin't answer since the quick cart still wasn't fixed & I didn't want to push in by hand & it was pretty hot. Today was really busy since it is the 1st of the month, on a Friday & lots of people came in since the Hurricane Nate is coming this way. I just stayed on the Grocery side all day. Someone came in @ 10 & someone came in @ 11 & he helped me. I went to lunch @ 12 & I got back & they said that the Grocery side was really low. It had about 20 buggies inside :( The guy said that he had to do a carry out & had to go all the way over to the GM side. They sent someone out to help us. Someone who used to be a Cart attendant so it was nice to work with him again. He just pushed in buggies in by hand & I got to be on the front buggie steering it. At 3 :30 I went to do a carry out & Cindy went on her break (30 minutes early) do noone was on the Grocery side until I got back. There were about 20 buggies in again so a Customer Service Manager came out to help for a little bit until Cindy got back. We got it mostly full before I got off. We are on the East side of the center so it will be pretty high winds. I work 10 to 7 pm tomorrow & 1 to 10 pm on Sunday so hopefully it will be gone by then. I just helped the other cart attendant get buggies in. We got 3 full rows inside then he went to the GM side. I had 1 row left @ 1 pm. Someone came in @ 1 & we went to the GM side to get the other quick cart to get the Grocery side caught back up. I went to lunch @ 2. I got back & it was about half full. We got it full @ 4 pm 7 took the other quick cart back. Today they had to call someone in since Joe hasn't been there the last few days. The first person got there @ 11 am & he said that there was someone out there pushing in by hand. I worked 1 to 10 pm. I went to the GM side & it was pretty Good not to busy over there. It wasn't as busy as yesterday since it was lightly raining most of the afternoon. I got to switch being Off on Tuesday instead of Wednesday to help out someone. We had everything done by 8 pm so it was nice to just walk around. Hope I don't get called in since I'll be going over to a friend's house to watch some movies. I got home & my brother was over since they came & started to clear the land next door. Today: One of my cousins is getting married @ 4:30!
