How can we possibly be banned if jagex allows us to make these names ?

Neither of us ever scam cheat or whatever, we do like having a laugh when ppl mix up our names and it gives us a great time.

 

 

 

BUT HOW CAN JAGEX BAN FOR SOMETHING THEY ALLOW YOU TO CHOOSE ?

 

 

 

If jagex thinks this is not apropiate let them please RIGHT NOW change the signing up part where u choose ur name so that it no longer allows these "difficulties".

i tried makin them it said this no is no longer available, yet when i tried makin another nonavailable name it said for me to choose it, but give # options

I would say nopt because i have a name like that and i use it for when i stake so people cant look me up

Some people were banned for the "oOoOoOOOooO" names as far as i'm concerned.

I don't think that they ban the people with o0o0o, just look them up a bit more than regular names?

Good. I hope Jagex does ban those people. They make their name like that so they can swear, scam, etc. while making it hard for people to report them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You have to add them to your friends list and check your personal highscores list against them to see what the Os and 0s are.

It says very plain and easy to read in terms and conditions not to make such a name.....so yes I agree with the bannings. I do wish some would get a chance to change names but that isnt something we can do yet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Btw, yea I know several that have been banned for this.

I always thought they said they banned you because of name, because its permanent, and un-appealable.

dont ban em, dont let jagex solve this the easy way. they created this problem, they should just solve it. let em make a difference between o and zero so we can report the name abusers when they break rules, not 'ban them just in case it might be rule breakers'.
