JohnTheCop Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 Okay so I am getting pretty close to getting ss and turmoil (i have almost enough money and every skill but 66 thieving for the quests) and since i am 71 construction i was wondering if it would be worth my time and money to get 75 construction, put in a gilded alter and then use that to train my prayer, I value my time at 1mill an hour as the money spent to me is of some importance. also would it be better to spend my 1m free xp on prayer or summoning (assuming i can choose either) atm i am 79 summoning. but using it on prayer saves me roughly 10mill last question, if i used it on summoning, i would be at 83 summoning at it would take roughly 5k crimsons to get 88. so im assuming bursting rock lobsters would do that the fastest, so how many casts and or how much would it cost me to get those charms. thanks in advance "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bursting rock lobsters is quite fast crimson charms but costs alot of money and is quite annoying without SS for healing, 5k crimson charms should take no more than 25k bursts but I forget the exact numbers :mad: I think its around 1k crimsons per 5k bursts (just a guess based on past experience) If your short on money just slay for your charms & max your account while you are at it ^^ Website corrections ~ Items & Shops ~ Bestiary ~ Quests ~ Maps & Calculators[spoiler=Rare Drops/Splits (Feb 2013 - ??)] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With a crystal saw and +1 boost from tea, you can already build one, so it's just the cost of the altar itself you need to be worried about. Imo, it's quite worth it. And yes, as AHappySeeker aptly put it, rock lobs are worth it if you just want to grind summoning fast. Slayer is better if you want a high slayer level, waterfiends if you want melee xp etc. but for pure summoning, lobs.
