96 - 99 strength

I've recently recovered my old zerker, and I'm making him into my main now. He's 96 str, and I'd like to get 99. I'm just wondering what places are good for training? (I haven't played rs in over a year) I'm looking for decent xp and some profit, if that is possible. Slayer is also an option.

stats: 70 att 96 str 70 def

Thanks!

If you're looking for profit as well, definitely do slayer. I've trained almost all of my combat stats through slayer and highly reccomend it. Look at it this way, you could mindlessly afk armoured zombies or have fun doing slayer! I've made millions of slayer drops, so I'd go with that.

I guess it just depends on your slayer level, higher levels around 75-80+ make much more money than lower levels. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a really good way to train combat (your main goal, I presume,) while making really good money at the same time.

Money-wise, dragons are your friend.

Xp-wise, chaotics are your friend. Training dungeoneering also provides strength xp. You do probably want to get 80 attack first if you take that route.

Slayer won't make you much money really, but if you're making your account a 'main' anyway, you might as well train combat via slayer.

Ok. So, are there methods that could net me more money than slayer?

His statement is false to some extent, lower level Slayer isn't very profitable. Higher level Slayer is, therefore although you won't make much at first you will towards the end, especially if you do all your level 3/hard clues. I'd say go with Slayer.

Only do slayer if you value slayer exp (which if you ever want to max total you should). If all you want is good xp and some profit than vyrelords are ~400 k profit an hour an ~140+ k xp/hr.

EDIT

Requires completion of Branches of Darkmeyer

Also, you really should consider charms in the equation as well.
