October 18, 201213 yr Both are pretty bad. Get either prom 2h (if you're under 89 DG), or Primal battleaxe if you're 89 DG or higher. Make sure to upgrade your berserker ring as well. October 18, 201213 yr Yeah in the beginning the spears were determined the best, but since then we have discovered the amazing berserker ring and its effects. When using the aggresive style on your weapon (2h or baxe) you get a pretty significant dps boost, so long as you upgrade it. Coupled with the fact that most of the monsters in dg are weak to crush or slash (not stab, and the stab option on the spear is the controlled style, and thus doesn't get the boost anyways.), using one of those two weapons is critical. Nit-picky:I wouldn't say spears were deemed best until we 'discovered' berserker ring.It is more of a case spears WERE best, then Jagex released the ring upgrades causing 2h and baxe to become better.
