December 30, 201213 yr So I just achieved 99 Summoning which means I can now use Steel Titans. I was wondering, now the Evolution of Combat has pretty much changed most things, what are the efficient uses for the Steel Titan? What monsters does the titan deal high damage to? Thanks in advance!
December 30, 201213 yr Gratsgratsgrats :D. Use titan everywhere :D. It's ranged, so it hits better on mages, but it hits hard on everything else too (unless it's crazy high def maybe). One special bar holds 60 points, one scroll uses 12. Helmet scrolls don't use special energy, but they require that you have at least 12 points remaining, so never manually scroll 5x in a row. Helmet scrolls fire randomly when you are attacked (so being attacked a lot = lots of scrolls). As with iron titans/bloodragers etc., your titan holds a 'charge' when scrolled. Try to avoid manually scrolling until right up to your titan's attack, to give helmet scrolls a chance to go off. Big advantage of the steel titan: it doesn't have to lumber around to hit stuff, so it can attack much more easily especially in cramped spaces. Since EoC you have to be be careful to let it range, never melee. December 30, 201213 yr Hey, i also got 99 Sum recently and i'vve been wondering... I charged my FSH with scrolls but they don't seem to ever hit on tasks. I'm not sure what is wrong. Also, i can never use it even twice in a row (i get a message saying that the ability is not ready or something). If someone would be willing to explain how scrolls on a helmet work, i'd be thankful.
January 2, 201313 yr Steel titan rapes at arma gwd and also qbd :) both good for $ :P also its good on slayer tasks some might say its not but the extra damage it does helps alot to get the task done
January 2, 201313 yr Use it everywhere you can. You shouldn't need a bunyip, uni, or yak for anything.
